Maybelline Blush - Great Summer Color
Hello all -
The Maybelline Mineral Power Natually Luminous Blush in "True Peaches" is a fabulous product for summer. It is really similar to Mac "Peaches" and looks great under a bronzer.
I purchased this color on Friday at CVS, and have worn it every day since. I decided to include a picture of what it looks like under a bronzer. (Isn't my baby cousin the CUTEST?)

Target Swimwear - Perfect for Teacher Reading by the Pool
Hello all -
So, Friday I bought a new swimsuit at Target. Target has excellent swimwear and it just keeps getting better.
The MixandMatch Mossimo Black line of swimwear is really good quality and has great color. I chose the suit in berry, but they also have green, cobalt and black. They are currently on sale for around $15 each piece online. Either of these look awesome with gold or silver jewelry.
I am including pictures here. These are the models from Target, not me. ;)
I tried my new suit out on Saturday by the pool. My pool reading is "Made to Stick." This is an excellence corporate read that transfers to the classroom.
I'll do a review on the book soon.

Welcome - Summer is Here!
Hello all -
How wonderful is it that summer is HERE? I am so excited. Now that I am no longer in the classroom, I really miss that feeling of being DONE...for at least a little while.
Now, I am busy getting ready for a new group of teachers at the best public school in Houston. Still exciting, but not the same.
Either way, this summer has given me the opportunity to have fun and start a blog!
Here, I hope to give everyone a little insight into becoming a better teacher, education issues of the day, and how to look GREAT doing it!
My passions include teaching and learning, books and beauty. Only blogspot can allow you to express all three at once.
